How should I look after my tyres if my car is parked for a long time?

Check the tyre pressures and make sure they are all correct.  Proper inflation helps prevent cracking of the tyre sidewalls and avoids flat spots.

Check the valves and valve caps for leaks and ensure the valve caps fit properly.

If your car is being stored for periods of up to 3 months, increase the tyre pressure to approximately 3.5 bar to avoid flat spots.  Remember to re-adjust your tyre pressure to the recommended pressures prior to driving the car.
